Giving Away Christmas - WINNER: Caitlyn Dunphy

Here is a little bit about the winning family of our Giving Away Christmas Contest:
 The Dunphy Family!

Our family was created by following our hearts to adoption when we could not
conceive after trying for three and a half years.  Many of our close
friends/family were getting pregnant and having children year after year so
it was certainly saddening to us that we could not.  With a little
trepidation and a lot of hope, we began the adoption process.  It was such a
blessing for us to have another way to grow our family.  Our first adoption
was smooth and joyful and brought Isabella into our lives.

Our local family consists of my mother, my husband, myself and our two year

old adopted daughter, Isabella.  My mother helps us out with Isabella's care
during the week so I can go to work for a couple of hours.  She even gives
us the occasional "date night" out!  She's very giving in that way.  My
husband works fulltime as a computer administrator and enjoys his work but
misses being at home with us.  I am, for the most part, a stay-at-home mom
which has been amazing for me; a chance to watch Isabella grow and change
every day!  And lastly, our Isabella.  She is truly an amazing gift and the
love of our lives. She's inquisitive, joyful, loves to sing and dance,
really active and is funny all the time - our little jokester.

We live in San Bruno, California.  Until last year, we lived in San

Francisco in a one-bedroom condo.  As the economy got worse and worse, and
my husband became unemployed, we found ourselves underwater in our tiny
condo with a growing one-year-old and not enough money or space.  We were
forced to move but found a nice little rental house in San Bruno.  It was a
difficult time for us but we are slowly recovering.

The Family's Christmas:

We decorated the stockings with glitter glue (after this pic was taken LOL) & stuffed them with goodies for the family to enjoy! (Including candles, hand sanitizer, toys for Isabella, lotions, body mists, etc...)
