Traverse Bay Farms Salsa/BBQ Sauce Review!

Ok fans, I live in Texas so I am a HUGE advocate for anything spicy & cooked on a BBQ Pit! I was ECSTATIC to get to review Traverse Bay Farms Salsa's and BBQ Sauces. There may be a million brands of salsa's and sauces, but very few actually meet my taste-buds requirements for deliciousness and a big kick of flavor!

Raspberry Fruit Salsa - This 2nd place award winner at the 2011 Scovie Awards is a delicious combination of raspberries and spices! It's sweet to start with a kick of spice at the end. This salsa was a hit with my family while we watched Sunday Night Football! We finished off the entire jar! YUM!

Black Bean Salsa - This is a thick salsa, almost the consistency of chili! It has big chunks of fresh, juicy tomatoes and crunchy black beans. I first tried it on my omelette and it was bursting with flavors, I didn't even need veggies in my omelette! This is by far my favorite salsa. It's a great consistency, not runny or full of juices that will deflate your chips. Delish!

Raspberry BBQ Sauce - Delicious! I almost want to say it doesn't even taste like bbq sauce! I tried this on some grilled chicken and it was fantastic! It's especially tasty on scrambled eggs!

Go Raw Review

Go Raw is a real live food company that specializes in delicious tasting foods with the best ingredients, locally grown when possible. Many of their products are gluten free, wheat free and nut free. It's a family owned company which I love! And they make everything in an all raw kitchen.

Super Cookies/Chips:
Lemon - Literally taste like my grandma's lemon bars but a chip like consistency. They are light and delicious! I could absolutely switch from my Cheetos snacktime at work to these! They are fantastic and a simple step to a healthier lifestyle!
Carrot Cake - There is a great taste of freshly peeled carrots with a very faint hint of coconut texture. The sesame seeds and dates make this a perfect "cookie" and it tastes wonderful!
Chocolate - The organic Cacao flavor is intoxicating. I enjoyed the light bitter flavor of the chocolate cookies with the perfect texture of the organic coconut, they make for a delicious and healthy snack for people of all ages to enjoy!
Ginger Snap - These were thicker cookies, but with a much lighter flavor. They were crunchy and the flavor lingered on my tongue for a good while.
Original - The sesame seeds were the first thing I noticed in these delightful cookies! They had an airy crunch and were too good to just eat one! Yum!!
Spirulina - My first instinct was: BANANA CHIPS! This has a wonderfully fresh banana flavor with the consistency of coconut. Not overpowering, just a nice and light flavor. Definitely one of my favorites.

Flax Snax:
Spicy - These weren't as spicy as I expected, but they still had a great flavor. Coworkers of mine called it bird food, because it does kind of resemble bird seed (haha!) but when they tried it they were pleasantly surprised! It has sunflower seeds which adds just the right amount of saltiness and the sesame seeds are above all my favorite, they're so yummy!
Pizza - The first thing I noticed was the smell. When I opened the bag, the scent of tomato and garlic overwhelmed my nose. This flax snack is delicious, filled with seeds and tastes comparitively like the pizza flavored pringles, but with a healthier bite to it and much more filling. My dad is a picky eater and these were his favorites as well! Delish!

Bars:
Live Pumpkin - Full of chewy pumpkin seeds, it has a hint of sweetness from the Agave Nectar. This is a delicious bar; it's very filling.

Real Live Chocolate (Original) - Thick little squares of heavenly goodness! That's the only way to describe the delicious and bitter dark chocolate. It melts in your mouth, so amazing!

I still have a few more bars and cookies to try, but my overall experience with this brand is fresh and delicious! I would highly recommend trying these products! They're not the typical "healthy" foods with no flavor. DELISH!
